Men can apply for all the academies/courses under CDSE whereas women can apply only for OTA (Non Technical)

Age limits are given below :

  • IMA :                       19-24 (Unmarried Male)
  • AFA :                       19-23 (Unmarried Male)
  • INA :                       19-22 (Unmarried Male)
  • OTA(Men) :                       19-25 (Unmarried & Married Male)
  • OTA(Women) :                      19-25 (Unmarried Female)

Educational Qualification :

IMA & OTA Degree from a recognized university
INA BSc. /Bachelors in engineering from recognized university
AFA Degree from a recognized university(with Physics & Maths at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of engineering

Main differences between CDS & NDA are :

  • NDA does not recruit for OTA whereas CDS does
  • NDA is not for women whereas CDS (OTA) is for women also
  • NDA is at 10+2 level whereas CDS is at graduation level

The Food Corporation of India (FCI) is one of the largest Public Sector Undertakings dealing with food grain supply-chain management, intends to recruit candidate for concern field.

There is certain number of post which are come under the categories of (FCI),which requires proficiency in computer.
(A) Assistant Grade – III (General) – Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognized University with proficiency in use of computers .
(B) Assistant Grade – III (Accounts) – Bachelor of Commerce from a recognized University with proficiency in use of computers .
(C) Assistant Grade – III (Depot) – Graduate Degree in any discipline from a Recognized University with proficiency in us e of computers.
(D) Assistant Grade – III (Technical) – B.Sc. in Agriculture from a recognized University . B.Sc. from : Botany / Zoology /Bio-Technology /Bio-Chemistry / Microbiology/Food Science.
Or
Tech / BE in Food Science/Food Science and Technology / Agricultural Engineering / Bio- Technology from a recognized University / an institution approved by AICTE.
(E) Junior Engineering(Civil /Mechanical/Electrical) Branch: Degree in concern branch , or diploma in concern branch with one year experience

They work under the close supervision of higher rank of officers to Reads and checks out going mail for completeness, readiness for dispatch by checking e.g. proper and complete address, proper signatures. They also make entries into service book etc.

To Assists his superiors in sealing the go down locks, maintaining of go down daily opening and closing register, checking watchmen on duty, supervising cleaning and sweepings.They are also responsible for physical verification of stock loading of goods.
